Customized Directory Background Does Not Appear

This article walks through locating and identifying the background image file for the ALICE Directory.

  1. On the ALICE Kiosk PC, navigate to the following location depending the ALICE Directory screen's orientation:
    • Landscape – C:\Program Files (x86)\WinTech LLC\Alice\Directory\Content\Layouts\1920x1080\Images
    • Portrait – C:\Program Files (x86)\WinTech LLC\Alice\Directory\Content\Layouts\1080x1920\Images
  2. Verify the customized background image has the filename "IABackground.png"
    • If only "IABackground.jpg" is present, that file should be used instead.
  3. If the file present does not include the custom background, replace the image with the modified background.
  4. Relaunch the ALICE Directory.

If "Show Navigation Menu" is disabled in the ALICE Configuration's Advanced Layout Settings, an additional overlay image is displayed on the Directory Listing. This file can be modified at the following location: C:\Program Files (x86)\WinTech LLC\Alice\Directory\Content\Resources\background
