ALICE Kiosk Configuration Recommendations
This article covers recommended Windows settings for the ALICE Receptionist Kiosk.
Automatic Log-in – It is recommended that the ALICE Directory be configured to log the Windows user in when the PC powers on. This setting will ensure the system can self-start in during an unexpected reboot.
Windows Start-Up – It is recommended that the ARD be configured to launch at Windows start-up. This will ensure that the ARD will display should the machine be rebooted at any time.
Wired Network Connection – Your ALICE Kiosk needs an active and stable network connection to ensure functionality and the availability of updates and content changes.
Single-Purpose Design – The ARD is designed to run on a single-use machine. The ALICE Kiosk should only be used to run the ALICE Receptionist application and related functions.
