ALICE Client – Audio Tab
This article walks through configuring the Audio tab and how to select audio devices.
The Audio tab contains the device settings the ALICE Client will use for audio communications. These settings do not impact Split and One-Way Call types, as those call options will instead call the employee's phone number. Details regarding configuring Split and One-Way Call types in the ALICE Portal can be found in the Employees tab section.

Microphone – Select the microphone device that will be utilized. A microphone on a headset or with echo canceling is recommended.
If the device does not appear on the drop-down list, verify that Windows recognizes it. If the device was connected after the ARC launched, restart the ALICE Client.

Speaker – Select the sound output device to be utilized. A headset is recommended.

Audio Codecs – Select the audio codecs supported or used by your communication server, or check “Select All” to authorize all available codecs.
