The Events tab is used for the Legacy version of Events and is incompatible with Visitor Check-in. For details regarding the current Events calendar version, which supports Visitor Check-in, refer to the [Events Configuration article](https://kb.alicereceptionist.com/documents/events-configuration-process?hsLang=en). The Events section displays a list of events from one or more calendars. All events scheduled for the current date will be displayed on the screen for any selected calendars. ALICE is compatible with Microsoft Outlook, Office 365, and Google Calendar. ![Events](https://kb.alicereceptionist.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Events.png?width=500&height=522&name=Events.png) ### Calendar Options #### Microsoft Exchange Enter the credentials for the Exchange account that contains the calendar to be used. ![Events_1](https://kb.alicereceptionist.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Events_1.png?width=538&height=81&name=Events_1.png) - **Login Name** – Exchange Username - **Password** – Exchange User Password - **Email Address** – Exchange User Email Address - **Login** — Press the Login button to connect to the Exchange Server and retrieve the user's calendar list. If the credentials are correct, a list of calendars associated with that user will be displayed. You should use an ALICE-specific account rather than an employee's. The account should also have a password that does not change frequently. If the credentials are correct, a list of calendars associated with that user will be displayed. Click the **Accept** button to allow ALICE to retrieve a calendar list from this Google account. ![Events_7](https://kb.alicereceptionist.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Events_7.png?width=500&height=322&name=Events_7.png) After permission is granted, a list of calendars will be returned and displayed in the Available Calendars section, along with any other calendars that may have been retrieved from an Outlook account. ![Events_2](https://kb.alicereceptionist.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Events_2.png?width=400&height=62&name=Events_2.png) ### Additional Event Options **![Events_8](https://kb.alicereceptionist.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Events_8.png?width=400&height=22&name=Events_8.png)** - **Enable Check-in / Badge Printing** – This feature is no longer supported. - **Show Date** – Displays the day’s date in the header of the Events page. - **Template/Default** – Change the style of the Event buttons. ### Events Layout ![Events_9](https://kb.alicereceptionist.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Events_9.png?width=400&height=299&name=Events_9.png) The Events Layout lets users modify the Events page's colors and fonts. To modify an Event page, click on the text, button, or area to modify.
