Visitor Check Out Processes
This article provides an overview of how the check-out process works.
Checked-in visitors can check out by identifying themselves using their Registered Visitor, a code associated with their visit, or by their name. If a check-out survey is active, it will appear after the guest identifies themselves. Once they complete the survey, the visitor will be checked out of the system. Check-out surveys can be configured in the Survey section of the ALICE Portal.
Use this guide to inform employees of the check-out process or answer any questions from visitors.
The visitor is not intended to use this guide.
Check Out by QR Code
Scan QR Code lets visitors scan their Registered Visitor QR code to check out. The visitor will hold their QR code to the camera. Once the code is recognized as valid, the visitor will be checked out or sent to the check-out survey screen.
Check Out by Code
Check-out by code allows the visitor to provide one of the codes associated with their check-in, such as their badge number, Appointment Code, or Registered Visitor Code. Once the code is recognized as valid, the visitor will be checked out or sent to the check-out survey screen.
Check Out by Name
Guests can search for their names using the By Name option. Typing in a part of their name will begin a search. Once they select their name, they will click Next to complete the check-out process or be sent to the survey screen.
