Adjusting Call Time Outs
This article walks through how to set the time limit on calls from the ALICE Kiosk.
By default, calls are automatically timed out after 5 minutes. This prevents the ALICE system from unintentionally maintaining a connection to an employee's phone or voicemail.
This process allows you to adjust that time.
- On the ALICE Kiosk, close the ALICE Directory.
- Launch the ALICE Configuration and select the Advanced section.
- Select the Communications tab.
- Change the "Call TimeOut (seconds)" number to the time it will automatically disconnect the call in seconds.
To disable call time out, set the seconds to 0.
