Display an Image When a Card Is Selected
This article walks through how to use a Card Action to display an image when a card is selected.
- Close the ALICE software on the ALICE kiosk.
- Open file explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\WinTech LLC\Alice\Directory\Content\CardImages
- If the CardImages folder does not exist, create one.
- Place the image in the folder and copy the name of the file, including its filetype.

- Log into the ALICE Portal as an ALICE Administrator.
- Under Directory Management, navigate to Directories.
- Select the Companies, Department, or Employee Tab Depending on which card will be configured.
- Create or Edit the Company, Department or Employee card that will display the image.
- Set the "Card Action" to Image.
- In the "File Name" field, type in the file name of the image that will display, including its format.
- Relaunch the ALICE Directory.
