ALICE Client Settings Won't Save

This article troubleshoots when the ALICE Client won't save its settings.

 

  1. Uninstall the ALICE client.
  2. Remove the "Client" file directories from the following locations: 
    • %appdata%
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\WinTech LLC\Alice
    • C:\ProgramData\WinTech LLC\Alice 
  3. Reinstall the ALICE Client as a Local Admin
  4. Any further changes to the Client will require a Windows Admin user to be logged in.

Users added to the Domain admins group may need to be added to the local administrators group.
