Display an Image When a Card Is Selected

This article walks through how to use a Card Action to display an image when a card is selected.

  1. Close the ALICE software on the ALICE kiosk.
  2. Open file explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\WinTech LLC\Alice\Directory\Content\CardImages
    • If the CardImages folder does not exist, create one.
  3. Place the image in the folder and copy the name of the file, including its filetype.

  4. Log into the ALICE Portal as an ALICE Administrator.
  5. Under Directory Management, navigate to Directories.
  6. Select the Companies, Department, or Employee Tab Depending on which card will be configured.
  7. Create or Edit the Company, Department or Employee card that will display the image.
  8. Set the "Card Action" to Image.
  9. In the "File Name" field, type in the file name of the image that will display, including its format.
