Performing a "Clean" Re-Installation of the ALICE Directory
This guide walks through locating and deleting files to remove an ALICE Directory, Client, or AVM installation.
When uninstalling an ALICE application, various files remain to assist with re-installation. If you would like to remove these files, below is a list of locations where these files can be found and deleted. Depending on the version installed, these locations may not exist with your installation.
Deleting these files will remove all relevant ALICE software settings and information. To retain these settings, make a copy of all files before removing them.
ALICE Local Database installations have specific backup, deletion, and removal processes. For applications related to a Local Database installation, please contact the ALICE Support team for assistance.
ALICE Directory & AVM

ALICE Client

Once deleted, reinstall the applications.
