"Unable to Verify License" ALICE Directory Error Message

This article walks through common causes for the "Unable to Verify License" error message.

If you receive the error message "Unable to verify license" on the ALICE Directory, it can be caused by the PC's system date not being in mm/dd/yyyy format. 

  1. Navigate to Region in Windows.
  2. Select change data formats.
  3. Under the "short date" format field, set the date format to mm/dd/yyyy.
